Tired tired.. Lingz's ROM machiam her AD.. most prob i'll choose to do it relaxly..

Kelvin & Lingz left home around 1130hrs as checking in is only available after 12noon.. After they left, I was online till abt 1440hrs.. suppose to bath at 3pm but told mum i'll take a nap. She woke me up at 1515hrs for my bath.. Lingz sms me to bring her charger, den double sided tape, den make up remover wipes.. den Kelvin (my BIL now) called & asked me to help him buy hair wax.. hair gel can? cannot cos too wet..

I was halfway thru my "face-colouring".. so i finish up my colouring, paste my fake lashes & went downstairs in my dress &... slippers.. Lingz brought my heels i mean hers, to the hotel.. She has so graciously offered me her new heels so that i can match my dress.. =) So sweet of her.. my dress was too revealing for the afternoon so i put on my cardigan before going down.. Imagine.. Maggie mei mei, wearing tube dress, make up done with fake lashes, in flip-flops going downstairs to get her BIL's hair wax.. The nearer Econ minimart dun haf!! =( Miserable.. I got to walk further away to Teo Chuan Ji to get it.. Dun haf small one..

All this while, uncle Norman (Lingz's FIL) was waiting for us downstairs already.. By the time i got to the car, i was perspiring already.. Mind you, uncle Norman drove nearer to Teo Chuan Ji to pick me up but that didn't really help... =( Aircon was full blast at me after I got into the car.. Reached Grand Copthrone Waterfront Hotel aroud 1715hrs.. Melodie & Joel were already there.. Kenny, Kelvin's younger bro was rehearsing.. He is the emcee for the event..

When we reached the hotel, we tot juz like normal hotel, go into lift press button of floor you want den lift will send you up there.. Alamak.. Me this mountain tortoise la.. Need card leh.. The couple got a free upgrade from a normal room to an executive room at the executive floor.. We need to insert card, press their floor den remove card.. Crap... so troublesome!! Ring Kel to come down.. Finally reached their room.. Lingz was being coloured by Ivy.. Ivy is 40 but nothing abt 4 was on her face.. Gosh!! she looked like she juz pass 30.. her daughter already 10yrs old!! Ok ok.. mayb like wat my mum said, "you make-up artist ma, know how & wat to bao yang.." Whahaha!! I think I also not bad la.. Still got abit cute la.. whahaha!! Hokkien say, orh lor ka ki.. hehe!!

Room 2517.. Room was on the 25th floor.. nice nice view.. think you should be wondering where are the photos.. wait la.. The event juz finish leh.. See i so on, immediately blog abt it after my bath.. tired le leh.. tomolo i still got class.. haven't read my notes leh..

Long story short say... I'm sort of the helper, recep, PA, ringbearer of the event leh.. Cool hor? Like that hor, I think I can do a decent job at Shuhui's AD.. Shuhui & Khet made me their chief Jie-mei.. Kaoz.. sounds like da jie da... whahahaha!! I got no experience leh.. Both dun mind cos they think I'm the special one in their lives..

By 1815hrs, I was down at the recep area.. Got ppl come already leh.. My 4th aunty reached le.. Den Kelvin's fren - Jason Low & his other half.. Den my other aunties.. den more ppl come... Me steady hor.. 1 person doing recep leh.. Kel's cousin - Violet jie-jie not here yet.. She doing recep with me one.. Kenny & me got a walkie talkie each... While he was inside doing some last min rehearsal, I was la-ing away into the walkie talkie.. whahahaha!! he using earpiece, I didn't.. The talkie was meant to update each other on the situation inside & outside to ballroom.. I used it to lala lala... whahahaha!! i was crap but Kenny alright with it.. Whahaha!! You all muz be wondering where my Hubby is hor.. Hehe!! He was on the way lor.. He got work ma.. Poor Hubby working since 12midnight last night.. meaning, he started at 0000hrs of 18th Aug till 5plus pm den he reached home for a bath & came with his parents.. Mucks Hubby!!

The shirt I bought for Hubby all too big.. haiz.. So sad.. Hubby so skinny.. I so fat.. ok ok.. so he din manage to wear wat i bought in the end.. Gonna bring those shirt to alter soon.. but hor, mayb he'll put on weight by CNY next yr? whahahaha!!


Oei!! I suppose to long story short say hor.. ok ok.. Ard 1920hrs, the event started.. The couple
walked in & the JP did her job.. JP-Justice of Peace aka solemnizator.. Though a "troublesome" lady, we all think she did a good job..She juz had a knee operation but she still come to officialise the event.. Lingz & Kel wrote their own vows.. Long but sweet... =) Asked HH if he wants like that.. I knew his answer, he knows i knows his ans but he still crap with me say actually like that he also can.. Like real, he won't be so jin lao.. 2 wks ago, I packed his room for him.. spent 2hrs on a Sat to clear his papers on the floor.. guess wat i found yday when i went up? Judging from the state the pile is in, I assumed he kicked it.. Kaoz.. my effort down the drain.. so angry that I shouted at him.. den i spent another 2hrs, clearing the pile, checking another pile in his bag & van den cleared some from the rooted red bag & the top of the computer table..

Food served was not bad.. My dress grew fitting-er as the hours went by.. I ate & the dress grew fitt-er.. think it's not the dress, it's the wearer. whahahahaha!! ok ok.. really long story short say... Solemnization ceremony done le, we took some group photos & dig into the food.. Kenny was supposed to make the couple dance but think it was too difficult, the plan didn't materialise.. Kenny then ask the couple to say 8 things abt each other that they like abt each other.. den Kenny ask them to choose "hug, kiss, hugs & kisses, both" The couple hugged for 8 sec as they suggested thinking that juz hug can let them pass.. whahaha! Kenny where got so easy let them off.. Next, they are suppose to kiss each other at 6 locations.. Y 6? K-I-S-S-E-S 6 letters ma.. Whahahaha!! Den eat & eat & eat.. take photos & more photos & more photos...

The couple didn't actually eat till after the event.. After everyone was gone, mum & aunty Doris (Lingz's MIL) went to pack up the leftovers.. by 10pm, everyone one left except us..
